Read moreTo be clear, I do agree that we can and should talk about inflammatory topics. I don’t think that pushing things under the rug solves any issues. I think we can agree that changing a mind is really hard, especially on issues of ethics and morality. My understanding of how we come to moral judgements is heavily based on Jonathan Haight’s book, The Righteous Mind. He has done extensive research to determine how morals and ethics work and have come about.
