PSO: When and where did you compete?

Laura Rietmuller: 2018 PSO Canada East

PSO: What was your inspiration or story behind your piece?

Laura Rietmuller: I was so excited to be given a chance to perform so this routine embodies pure joy, presence and entertainment (with a dash of circus)! It’s celebrating the moment, trusting own abilities, not giving time to overthink/stress and just going for it! **I was ~15th on the wait list for this comp so didn’t think I had a chance, but ~2 weeks before the comp, I got in!! Dream come true!! And because I didn’t have time to overthink, I went with my best moves, trusted myself and put together a fun routine that I would enjoy performing (regardless of outcome)!!**

PSO: What would you like to share about your PSO competition experience?

Laura Rietmuller: Honestly, I love PSO comps. The staff are always helpful and fun, judges were fair and professional, competitors were kind and creative and the audience was so supportive. I always enjoy PSO because of their awesome energy and atmosphere. <3
