2027 Registration Fee Updates: Doubles/Groups & Amateur Competitors

Doubles/Groups Update

We're excited to share that registering for Doubles/Groups just got simpler (and more affordable)! Individual participants no longer have to register separately.

Instead, there are now two new registration options: (1) an entry for groups of up to three competitors ($195), and (2) an entry for groups of four to six competitors ($249).

After you complete your registration, the PSO Admin Team will reach out to confirm the details about each competitor in the group.

Thank you to the community members who have suggested this update!

Increasing Registration Fees

ICYMI: In Amy's note about the start of the 2026/27 season, we shared that rising venue, travel, and other production costs mean we can no longer put off increasing registration fees.

You can read the full context in that blog, but the TL;DR that we don't want you to miss is: our amateur competitor entry fee pricing for 2027 will be $175 USD in the US, 129 EUR in Europe, and 4,288 NTD in Taiwan.

The registration fees will increase as of January 1, 2027. Meaning, between now and December 31, you can purchase a registration for any upcoming event at the current price. Because life and scheduling can be unpredictable, we will also update the transfer policy in 2027.

Starting in January 2027, you can transfer your registration to another future event, for any reason, as long as you let us know by the registration deadline for the event you originally signed up for.
